What Makes a Healthy Poop?
A healthy poop will be:
Golden brown, which is due to pigments formed by the bacteria in the gut and bile from the liver. You want to make sure the color is normal because that tells you a lot about what's going on in your gastrointestinal tract (more on color below).
Black: Feces can be black if dried blood is present in it from internal bleeding in the upper digestive tract. See a doctor if this is the case.
Very Dark Brown: Drinking wine the night before may result in dark brown poop. This could also be the result of eating too much salt, or not enough vegetables.
Yellow: One condition that can cause yellow poop is an infection known as giardia, a dangerous infection that can spread to others. Another cause of yellow poop may be a condition known as Gilbert's syndrome. See your doctor if you are consistently seeing yellow poop.
Green: Babies often have green poop when they are given food for the first time. Children may have green or blue poop from certain illnesses or from ingesting food colorings. Adults may also have green poop if they eat large amounts of green, leafy vegetables or if they eat large amounts of foods with green food coloring. Light green poop may indicate excessive sugar in the diet. Green feces can also occur with diarrhea if bile salts pass through the intestine unchanged. Again, see a doctor if you are concerned!
White/pale: Feces can appear white or pale after drinking barium sulfate, which is often given to patients getting an X-ray of the digestive tract. A white or pale stool may also be an indication of problems with the gallbladder or liver.
Red: Bright red in the feces may be indicative of active bleeding, possibly the result of hemorrhoids. A magenta color may result form eating intense red food coloring, or red foods such as beets.

无聊的人
roughly translated to mean, people with nuttin better to do
so, during hod meeting today, my department kena complained that we show face to another department's hod.
we go out for breaks in big groups. (our dept only got 4 people and we never ever all go 7 11 together la)
we eat at our desks. (kena complained i eat ice cream at my desk cannot, but they celebrate bday can eat cake at our work area, throw the tissue in to our dustbins wor)
we leave food in the toilet, even though its covered or wrapped up.
WHAT THE FARK!
but our manager tells us not to take things personally. well, if she say one time when the thing happened, fine, we'll take it as it is. the reality of it is, when the thing happened she say 1 time. next HOD meeting, SAY AGAIN! hdd too much space ar, store all this trivial stuff.

IE6 NO MORE!
*evil laughter* Good news for all web developers and web designers!
Google isn’t alone in dropping IE6: when Apple launched its MobileMe service it raised eyebrows by never supporting IE6 in the first place; similarly, Microsoft itself won’t be supporting IE6 in its own Office Web applications.

28 Days
reviewed by gin After getting into a car accident while drunk on the day of her sister's wedding, Sandra Bullocks is given a choice between prison or a rehab center. She chooses rehab of course.
But she is super non participative in the programs and is threatened with a transfer to the jail instead.
upon spending more time with the other patients, and jumping out of the window for her drugs, she discovers that she does in fact have a serious problem and gets down to working on it.
ok, not bad show. 07 March 2010 @ 08:37:42 hrs

virtual reality.. what is the world coming to?
saw on the news last night, a korean couple was so engrossed in raising their virtual baby online, that they forgot to feed their real 3 months old baby! apparently they spent all their time @ the gaming room and only fed the baby once a day. the poor baby died of malnutrition.

The Pupil
Been catching up on The Pupil these 2 weeks.
Interesting story lines every week, of course relevant to the Singapore context, like they had an episode about kiasu parents & their pri 1 kids. then they had an issue with a PR running away from his National Service Duty. free, should watch. Every thursday, 8.30 i think.. or was it 8pm..
New guest starring actors & actresses each week. Not bad looking actors & actresses.
The main story running throughout the series is just starting to get exciting! 04 March 2010 @ 11:21:11 hrs

Once Upon a Time in a High School
reviewed by greg
What is life like in 1978 South Korea, attending a high school? Corporate punishment seems mandatory, in a military school. Sang-woo Kwone, a 1st year student, also a Bruce Lee fanatic and son of a taekwondo trainer, transfers into possibly the worse school around, with fighting student and even worse 'prefects' around. As he come of age, bad influences affect him, love glances at him and then falls into his best friend's lap, and trouble always seems to find him.
With a moderate pacing, none special effects enhancing fights, and just simple ups and downs of emotions, you walk with our hero experiencing his high school life of ups and downs. At the end, there really isn't an ending but a progression to a next phase of life. Its always good to re-live some of the high school moments that one has, and wonder if you ever want to go through it yourself again. 02 March 2010 @ 15:56:49 hrs

Spy Next Door
reviewed by greg
Spy next door, another American version of Jackie Chan slap stick, a little bit of his usual ching chang slapstick fighting, a little bit of geek but actually spy routine, a little bit of gadgets, and a damn lame storyline.
Story revolves around him being a spy, in love with his neighbour who has 3 kids. He decides to retire, but before he retire, he arrests one last guy. This last guy escapes with the help of an insider, and obviously back for some vengeance. His sinister value? He can make oil disappear! WOW! How horrifying?!?! Agreed, in an economic sense, that is a scary thought, but in movie sense, bleah. And obviously Jackie Chan will just have to stop him again, this time is less action, less stunts, and more plays on the kids. This show...just about doesn't make it for me. 02 March 2010 @ 15:41:54 hrs

the ceiling...
in my master toilet is leaking apparently..
the hdb guy came to check it out today, and he suspects the water proof membrane of the upstairs unit is breaking down.. they moved in in 1999 la! 10 years already!
we will have to see if they are agreeable to hack their floor to redo the water proofing membrane, and they n us will split the cost, max $300 each.
if they dun wan to hack, then.. dunno how. maybe wait till the leaking gets too bad, then we raise again ba. 01 March 2010 @ 18:48:42 hrs
