i'm onto the 2nd book, "Impulse" by Candace Camp, that greg's mum lent to me. or should i say, i was almost at the end of it when i took the train to work this morning.. i was so intent on reading it that when i finally looked up.. it was dhoby ghuat.. so i told myself another 2 more stops.. i went back to the book and got lost in old england land.. and the next thing i knew.. i was at outram. chinatown slipped by without me noticing it. tsk.

well, that's the end of the book. I've one more to go before i'm out of my new supply of books. sighz.

just attended a friend's church wedding on saturday..

agents have this incredible knack for knowing when to call.. that is all calling @ the same time! @#$%&@#$

between 11.59-12.00, i managed to answer 3 calls, while my only other colleague was on the phone, and she managed to answer 2 calls and 1 call went unanswered.. all in the span of 1+mins.

cos there's no phone on my table, i had to walk to the other side to pick up the phone, and the time it took me to walk back to my desk, i hadn even sat down, the phone rang .. then the second i put the phone back in the cradle, the stinking phone rang again. like wtf! non stop! like call center!

and now.. its dead silent.

its the conspiracy of the agents. -.-

my office always has lost kittens and puppies.. cos they seem to think that we're another company.. which is located up the hill.. when our company name is printed right smack in the middle of the main door downstairs.. and even when u're coming up the stairs, the reception desk has a huge logo that spells out our company name .. and they can still ask for annica? gerard? sheesh..

got another time even cuter.. this guy n girl.. came up @ about 7+pm.. and he was carrying a wedding gown.. lol.. lost newly weds.. cant rem where they got their bridal wear from.. lol

anyway.. the film crew guy was cute! ;) looks slightly ang mo.. i think shld be mixed ba.. confirm dun look like typical singaporean. *grin*

in case anyone's taking note of needs for christmas presents.. i would like a new pair of white slippers.. about 2 inches high.. preferably with a strap @ the back. :)

so anyway.. i walked passed borders on friday.. and decided to go in for a look.. and i saw Judith McNaught's new book, Take my breath away.. well.. i dunno if its a new NEW book.. or quite long liao.. ANYWAY.. i used to not read romance.. tot they were quite erm.. sucky.. i read my first romance back in secondary school.. and well.. i think im a sucker for romance books now.. hiakz..

the guys in these books always have such nice features and blardee hell ALWAYS rich or well to do.. they're always tall, tanned, well built body, perfect smile, brilliant eyes with super personality to boot! and the female characters are always damn pretty and elegant and whatnot.. sighz.. i would like to be a romance book character and be swept off my feet by some knight in shining armor! *dreamz*

is uber bad today.. or rather.. uber bad tonight.. weather for serangoon @ 10pm..

Visibility is down to 2km!! that can't be good.. i can smell the haze in my living room and when the wind blew in just now, i could feel little particles hitting against my leg!! and blowing into my eyes.. ultimate! horrible horrible haze! and the moon.. the poor moon.. its supposed to be at its brightest tonight.. but.. its dimmed by the haze... and all those little kids that didn get to carry lanterns cause it was too hazy.. stinking pple who burn the earth.. *grumble*

thank the ancient Romans for aircon.. they were known to circulate aqueduct water through the walls of certain houses to cool them off, thus cooling the interior air.

no bright sun rays.. but still so hot! but today not as bad as yesterday la.. yesterday, i walked from home to the mrt stn.. sweat already.. then in the crowded train somemore.. can feel drops of sweat rolling down my neck.. back.. chest.. urgh.. i think the NEL has very poor ventilation. some parts of the train.. esp @ the head.. no aircon one lor!

anyway.. i saw the new video on NEl today.. is it new? the one that the train blows up in the tunnel.. i dunno la.. today first time see.. the one where they are asking citizens to be vigilant.. to be suspicious of everyone carry a bag or bulky item, and of anyone constantly looking @ the map of the stations while on the train, and of anyone holding their handphone tightly..

and we're supposed to let the suspicious person who left their baggage behind that they left their baggage behind and if they insist that its not theirs, hit the emergency button to talk to the driver!!

then tt's where i alight .. din get to see what they were going to do about the bag.. hmm.. maybe i shld take the train to the end just to see the video.. hiakz..
