let's see.. we have this customized mug, printed on it is our extended family photo, flown all the way from Dubai, from my uncle
	then we have, a cat cup cover.. from my cousin
then we have photo frame coasters, from my other cousin
	and then we have glitter puff, from Eileen.. she said can use for DnD! lol
then we have earrings, from greg's bro
	and sensual shower essentials from greg's sis
a 7 piece photo frame from greg's parents..
	a anime dvd from Erik
and .. are you wondering what greg got for me? well, this year we decided to buy surprise gifts for each other, cause the past few years, we would take each other shopping or the other person would already said what he/she wanted, then we would just get it. So this year, no asking. just buying! and surprisingly enough, we both bought each other similar item!! BAG! lol

this was our 2nd time hosting so many people.. was a bit uncertain about the food and drinks.. enuf or not, not enuf how? moral of the story. buy MANY MANY MANY drinks and ice or make sure all the drinks are in the fridge! 16 of us, i think we finished 16 bottles of 1.5l & 2l drinks! almost 1 person 1 bottle! anyway,

When you see its directed by Guy Ritchie, main actor Robert Downey Jnr, you just know Sherlock Holmes as we know it will be redefined. The movie was shot with a different tone and pacing compared to normal detective shows, the script was witty and sarcastic, and most of all, who would have thought there will be eye candy in a show like these?

The plot revolves around a guy who deals in the occult, and at the very start, Holmes rushes to arrest him. He gets hangs, and obviously we ain't seeing the last of him. So he rises from the dead, and then the mystery starts. So Sherlock goes on a wild goose chase, trying to pit his brand on logic thinking to solve a case based on mythical happenings. The action scenes are really nicely shot, but what really impresses is the way the quick observations are shown, as Robert Downey Jnr explains his observations in a flash over the smallest of details. I think Robert Downey Jnr has hit a golden streak since his time of rehabilitation, unless you hate sarcasm, I'm quite sure you would love this show.

HO HO HO!!

was at orchard yesterday...haven been there in months.. as kellin mentioned, no christmas mood! weird hor?

heeren, top floor has become a food only place, the teen shopping place is gone. the other teen shopping place @ the 2nd top floor, was EMPTY yesterday! there were only a handful of other shoppers other than kellin and myself yesterday. and HMV is moving out, to 313. Heeren is going down man.

with the opening of the new Mandarin, the route from Ion to Heeren is almost 90% atas shops. ion, wisma, taka, paragon, mandarin.. ALL ATAS SHOPS! people these days are getting richer. I stepped into Bread and Butter and stopped at the door, cause right beside the door, they displayed a tee shirt with a graphic drawing of a girl, printed in 2 colors.. i saw the price.. OVER $3 (&#$($&*%( hundred dollars!! FOR A TEE SHIRT! like wtf.

haiz.. i feel poor.. can only go suburbs shopping liao next time..

cannot wear short skirt/dress/shorts already. lol

dnd must wear long one liao.. ahahhaha

anyway, paintball was fun! its amazing how short each game was, but yet we still feel so shag. It poured before we were scheduled to play, it was still raining when we played the first round.. hence the field was all muddy with pools of water in various places, plus the rain drops were coming down and i think they must have hit all my bullets off target, well, i din really fire many shots in the first game anyway.. lol, then midway in my dash to another cover place, i got shot in the leg.. 4 times!! like OUCH! when it hit, PAIN LEH! we were sup to run back to the starting point and respawn, but i really felt like kena real bullet like that, cannot run la! lol ( Now i respect those who get shot for real and still can get up and run. ) not to mention the puddles of water.. i tried not to slip.. but haiz.. still fell.. lol

2nd game, rain not so heavy anymore, could see some bullets flying across the field, i just kept firing at this person behind the wall.. i could see the bullet raining down all over him/her but the umpire din call for him/her to get hit. *roar*

then i changed target to try and hit eugene, who was standing up behind a short wall.. same thing.. bullets raining down all over him, but din seem to hit him at all!! like wth!

then i got headshot, left right center. !$(#$&@(#*#$(^ and fyi, paintball paint tastes bitter. *yucks

i think the safest place to get hit is the eyes. lol! NOT PAIN MA!!

next time go play in DRY weather, and i will wear THICK jeans and THICK jacket. ha!

Now this is what I call a movie worth waiting for. It may not have the grand fights that the poof of a show had last week, but it has all the points that makes a movie, a great watchable one. The story reminds me a little like a Hong Kong version of Black Hawk Down.

The story revolves around 1905, the time when the revolution is forming, and the pivotal meeting of the main people behind it happens in Hong Kong. The main figure, Mr Sun Yat Sen is coming to Hong Kong, for a secret meeting with all the different state rebellion leaders. The Qing dynasty has gotten wind of the news and sent assassins to kill him. The rebellion faction in Hong Kong, does preparations to protect him and buy him time to meet with the rest. Simple main storyline? Then comes all the sub plots, with the beggar, the police chief, the rickshaw puller, the gambler,the tycoon and the revolutionary. The story builds up with all these sub plots, and peaks at the end with a bang. A strong storyline, great tempo through the show, solid believable fighting, and basically tons of tear jerking moments about people who sacrificed for their conviction of a revolution. A notion encapsulates the show, would you be a doctor or a revolutionary? Both saves lives, but a doctor saves a few lives, perhaps hundreds...but a revolutionary can save millions...

The show revolves around a guy who is the owner of a small factory, producing extracts. His wife stays at home and designs coupons, but of course, a big house nevertheless. It all started with once she got into track pants at 8pm, he won't be getting any. So he goes drinking at his friends bar. The friend, Ben Affleck, is basically the definition of the chinese saying, "zhu pen gou you", pardon the wrong spelling if it is. He basically introduces him to drugs, drinking with horse tranquilizer and etc. Background story is that there is this swindler in the form of sexy Mila Kunis (That 70's show fame), who wants to steal the money of an employee who was involved in a freak accident that had his testicles practically ripped off.

So the main guy finds her sexy, and thinks she is coming onto him...but he is married...and Ben Affleck suggests, "if your wife had an affair, then you wouldn't be guilty now, would you?" and from here, starts to crumbling of his so called boring life. Its watchable, slow-paced, basically a dvd movie, with a few laughs here and there. Not bad, not fantastic either...

yesterday, a bunch pple from one of our client hotel came over to deliver this!

YUMMY!! orange flavoured on the inside and chocolate on the outside! SHIOK!
and the best part, they came wearing reindeer horns and santa hats! in their business attire!

i dun dare to go too near to take pix of them, i sneakily take from my cubicle.. hahah

then today, another hotel came by to give ME log cake! heh!
my first corporate gift, specially for ME! *big grin*

another of our top clients that came by earlier today, they delivered a hamper, *whisper* the person that received the hamper never share, and a whole stack of 2010 namecard sized calendars. this year all budget, no more desktop calendars.. lol

so we headed over to Forbidden City for dinner.

the food was YUMMY! and pricey too!

ambience was nice.

more ang mo diners that chinese.

they serve fusion food.

the manager really knows his menu very well, did some recommendations and explained why he suggested one dish instead of the other.

and cause it was my dad's bday, we had shou xing mian on the house. kekek..

Oh my goodness, 2 words for this show...EPIC FAILURE. What was good about the first show, character development of the major characters, good pacing of fighting scenes, right mix of funny moments and serious fight scenes. All of that were missing from this crappy sequel! Even Aaron Kwok couldn't save this show.

The show starts with Godless having captured Cloud and Nameless, supposedly the martial arts legend, no elaboration about how he got that title. If I were new to this show entirely, I wouldn't know who the hell everyone is. And then they got released and straight away fight Godless, only to lose badly. Straight away after that, they run away, and go level up. Do a few moves here and there, and suddenly they become super strong. Then fight Godless again. Shall not be a spoiler and say the rest of the show... just fyi, Nic Tze didn't even really have a fight scene with any of them. Basically it was fight after fight after fight, the cinematography followed 300, some parts were nice, some parts were trying too hard. The ending is a cliff hanger, obviously there will be a part 3. Unless American shows where you know they only leave an opening to a sequel, and not the story must continue with a sequel, this show just seems cut short!

To have waited a decade to watch the sequel, I must say I am gravely disappointed. It is probably the worst Aaron Kwok show I have watched. The Pang brothers simply threw away all that was good, and tried to cram the show with wannabe effects to wow the crowd. They should be ashamed and stoned by Feng Yun supporters.
