a new local attraction?
so like class 95's Tell Us today was 'what new attraction would you like to see in singapore?'
i itchy hand decided to spend 30cents to sms in my idea: mediacorp tv world.. something like warner bro's movie world.. where the rides & attractions would be named after local tv series or movies.. AND I GOT AIRTIME! lol

i had more than just the 'read the sms' airtime, i had a few more sentences air time! WHAHAHAHAH!
anyhoo, anybody watched the 9pm show? The one showing the local police force and all its EFFICIENCY? lol thought its very exaggerating, and 70% of the time, it is advertising for the police force!! every 10mins or show, they will say singaporeans dunno how dangerous the situation actually is, they go about their daily lives ignorant of the fact that the police force is kept busy all the time keeping the country safe. or a short story about the different departments of the police force. or how the different departments work together to solve a case.

Green Lantern

Now I ain't a fan of many DC comic characters, only really followed Batman when I was younger. So who is Green Lantern? Or rather, how does he gain his power is the big question?
Origins
Green Lanterns are the guardians of the universe, and when the guardian of earth is gunned down by a seemingly invincible foe, the ring chose Ryan Reynolds, one who is irresponsible, nothing to his name and is good for nothing but flying. Seemingly fearless, he seems to fit the bill of the Green Lanterns, the ring gives him the power to create whatever he imagines. But if you are in fear, you cant concentrate on imagining.
"In brightest day, in blackest night, No evil shall escape my sight.
Let those who worship evil’s might, Beware my power… Green Lantern’s light!"
Conclusion
The whole show goes through the life of him finding himself, becoming the person he is supposed to be, and basically discovering the powers he has been bestowed upon. But when the enemy appears, the seemingly invincible enemy which 5 most powerful Green Lanterns can't stop is easily beaten by him. in the cot!
moved the cot to the master bedroom last night for baby dylan to sleep in. greg had to dismantle and fix up the cot all by himself, cos not enough pushing space for the cot to move wholesale and cos i had to keep dylan occupied. Thanks dar!
dylan was quite alright with sleeping in the cot, i guess. for me, not so used to it yet. cannot fall asleep looking at him.. lol. and with the cot, i can't seem to put him down without waking him..
on the bright side, daddy & mummy had more space to roll around!!

my baby took a tumble this morning..
fell off the bed.. :(
poor thing.
he had just finished his 5am feed, i put him back on the bed, he was fast asleep! i went to put his bottle in the fridge, then went toilet to blow my nose, then suddenly 'boom'. my baby was on the floor! AAAA!!!
he cried and cried.
gave him water, carried him, he calmed down. think he bumped his head. left side was red for a while. checked him head to toe.. other then the redness on his head, nothing else.
he could still do his usual ransacking of the headboard, and was attracted by sound, could still smile @ daddy, so all seems fine. *phew*
when we left him this morning with my in-laws he seems ok. chuckling and getting all excited, hopping from grandpa to grandma to me to grandpa to grandma, then drank milk and went to sleep.

More Dylan!
dylan can leopard crawl now.. he uses his left leg and right hand more to push himself. and while playing on his tummy, he likes to prop himself up on the right side, macam posing for camera!

caught the little monkey stealing bananas from his cot.. he actually pushed down the cot padding and stuck his little arm through the bars and reached for the items in the basket beside the cot.. he succeeded in pulling the smaller items into his cot, this bigger one, cannot go through the gap, he make noise. tsk tsk

todai..
went over to todai @ mbs for lunch on monday with darling greg and baby dylan.
according to greg, he says the food selection is very good, better than carousel! maybe cause carousel has more local cuisine ba, anywayz, the chef @ todai are almost all imported!!
there are even a few waitresses that are imported as well.
lunch is $42 per pax.
but greg n i didn't have to fork out a single cent! muahaha!
free lunch! yee haa! because my company had a dinner there couple of months ago, there was a lucky draw, and i won a pair of lunch vouchers. *snigger
they are having a 1 dines free for every 3 paying adults during lunch promotion. and during the lunch, for this month, they are having some spicy eating contest. the winner gets a lunch voucher!
