Soy reduces sperm count

there was an issue few year back.. that soy products were good in prevent breast cancer.. then another report came out that too much soy products will increase chances of breast cancer.. now soy products reduces sperm count.. interesting..

i realised something..

when i call places to make appt, then i ask if this day will be crowded, they will all give me the same reply, usually this day will be crowded.. make appt better.

see ar, few weeks back, i asked the tanjong pagar nail palace, which day they were crowded, she said, thurs, fri, sat.

yest, i called nail palace @ sembawang, asked her if sat or sun crowded.. she said ya, usually sat n sun crowded.

i called browhaus few mths back, asked if next week is busy, she said ya, quite, make appt better.

really everywhere so good business meh? then how come everytime i go nail palace, its not always full? most times i go browhaus, not always crowded also wat..

conclusion: its wat they have to say to let customers think that they very busy, so based on the KS mentality of singaporead, customers will tend to go 'okok, gimme this day' in order not to lose out!!

around 5pm.. suddenly our internet connection dropped.

waited til 5.25.. still not up.. so i called the ISP.

went through the troubleshooting steps..

only to discover.. SOMEONE OFFED THE SWITCH FOR THE SWITCH¹ LA!

lol! the person that attended to me must be thinking.. this stoopid company.. off the switch and say the internet connection not working. tsk tsk.

¹: switch is like a hub, that can extend a network. or something like that.

I conclude that the library is the best place to do work.

The office is not a good place to work for programmers. no no no. too noisy. There's always someone talking.. on the phone, talking to colleagues, grumbling to themselves. There's always distraction!

especially if you're having a headache, and have to think through a solution, and people are talking @ the top of their voices from the other end of the office, your train of thoughts tend to get disrupted.

BOSS, can i work from home? i promise to be on skype! i will be contactable via skype call!

action packed right to the end! action sequences were stylo! road chase scenes also kool. batman suit looks much better now than the previous ones! the neck can turn!

could use the english subtitles though.. some scenes they mumble mumble... cannot hear wat they saying la!

2.5hrs.. lindy cannot watch.. kekek.. 3/4 way through the movie, i was starting to feel the movie was a bit long, perhaps it was the seats, 4th row from the back leh! but @ the sides la. Red Cliff, on the the other hand, I didn't wonder when it was going to end though.

and the Joker's performance is really good la! *thunderous applause*

he got greg going 'Why so serious?' for the rest of the day la!

this is the Q for this particular drinks stall during lunch time.. sells drinks. just drinks. there are other drink stalls just like this one, just across the aisle, on the opposite. no Q. amazing huh? i'm not a picky drinker of kopi or teh tarik etc.. so cant really tell the dif.. hahaha! btw, if u wanna try, its on the ground floor, 2nd row where all the muslim food stalls are, stall number 01-67

NICE! entertaining with its comical moments. fight scenes were nice too. some CG effects not very realistic, but on the whole NICE! the story's pacing was good, characters were interesting. must watch. and the 2nd part too, must watch!

caught Hellboy2. tot it was quite slow moving.. kellin felt the ending was too.. simple. or not exciting enough. action sequences were good la, effects all very nice. but during the starting part, with the narrative intro.. i started to doze off.. lol.. could be due to the fact that it was an 11.20pm show. hiakz. oh and i tot Princess Nuala was Calista Flockhart la! Look like can! She's actually Anna Walton. look like rite?

i was @ vivo yesterday, checking out the samsung phones.

Samsung i900 & the Samsung F480

both phone were quite laggy, but greg sez over clock then ok already. But over clocking only works for windows mobile phones i think, so the Samsung F480, not sure if can overclock. I didn't really like the touch screen for the Samsung F480, perhaps it was too sensitive or perhaps my fingers are too huge, smsing was tough. keep pressing the wrong button on the onscreen keyboard. Samsung F480 no stylus. so every thing is finger-based

Samsung i900 has a stylus provided, though it wasn't out for demo with the phone, i think they scared we steal the stylus.. lol

Samsung i900, uses Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional, and has almost the same interface as the Samsung F480 (the widget thingy). anyway, the widget interface thingy, is similar to the Samsung F480. I don't see the point in it though. its like widgets for the desktop, played with it a long time ago, didn't find anything useful. lol

Samsung i900 is relatively bigger than the F480, as for weight, couldn't really tell cause of the security cable. According to specs online, i900 weighs 122g @ 112.0mm x 56.9mm x 12.5mm . The Samsung F480 weighs 100.6g @ 98.4mm x 55.0mm x 11.6mm.

The camera for the F480 is good! It has Image Stabilizer, Smile Shot, Face Detection, 5 megapixel with auto-focus & power LED. But its lens is in a weird location, if you hold it like a normal say canon ixus camera, ur fingers will be blocking the lens.

the i900 has 5 Megapixel with auto-focus & power LED as well. Doesn't state that it has the rest of the functions, i don't rem trying it out either.

so after play with both phones, not that keen on them after all cause of the lag. but if overclocking will greatly improve the speed, then i'm going for omnia. cos the touchscreen for F480, doesn work with fingernails! need to really use skin on the fingers to activate the onscreen buttons.

will go check outthe HTC Diamon soon.. anyone knows where to find a set for demo in Singapore?

and nope, not buying iphone 3G. lol!

on weekends, only time slot available is 7-8am, also 1 hour, play what.

on the crowded morning peak hour train to work today, someone fainted, or collapsed onto the mrt floor, i couldn't really see, too many people.

then someone yelled 'push the button, this is an emergency'

then i was thinking.. emergency meh? the train was already going to pull into outram station already. at the station just bring the 'patient' out la.

no one pushed the button as yet. then that same person said again, ' will someone push the button?'

i think someone did, cos the train driver made an announcement, 'passenger please speak through the microphone'

at this point in time, the 'patient' was recovering already. Some people helped her stand up, her face still blur blur one, but very pale. Then i heard a guy's voice asking, 'is she ok?'. then i guess he replied the train driver ba.

then i alighted already. the 'patient' didn't alight la, but on my way out of the train, i saw someone giving up the seat to her.

then at the station platform, got a station personnel with walkie talkie heading for the door that i alighted..

then i dunno already. kekeke..

so the question is.. was that considered an emergency enough to warrant a push on the button?

I found this show funnier than Zohan.. Zohan was kinda lame.. most jokes not funny la. Get Smart was entertaining.. cast good looking. can watch if u die die wanna watch something.. lol apparently the movie poster that we have in singapore.. VERY HARD TO FIND LA! the rest of the posters only have Steve and Anne on it. Finally found this one.. and its not in English! lol
