AAA!!!! nvm.. stomp stomp.. hope it sticks back.. back @ chinatown mrt.. my left shoe decided it wanted to talk too and grew a mouth. stomp stomp. squish squish squish squish squish squish .. suddenly feels a drop of water or rain on my head.. huh? im under the umbrella!! dun tell me umbrella leaking.. ignore drop.. squish squish squish squish squish squish .. feels another drop.. huh? really leak meh.. but i dun see any water droplets forming .. shakes umbrella.. nothing.. hmm.. ignore water drop.. squish squish squish squish.. waits to cross the road.. taxi zooms pass in the center lane of the 3 lane road and sends a spray of water on both sides.. almost reaches the pedestrain pathment.. siams 2 steps back.. just in case.. made it back to office.. takes feet out of shoes.. feet are black.. covered with the leather rub offs of the inside of the shoes.. *grumble*.. examines sole of shoes.. realises both heels of shoes have lost their soles!! omg. basically, my hush puppies.. cannot wear liao.. *sadded*

well.. there's this flight of stairs beside the escalator that leads to some mysterious place.. no sign indicating where it goes to, until one day, this sign appears..

wa! 94 flights of steps leh!! stairway to heaven ar? tsk tsk.. we were wondering.. for many weeks now.. so anyway, since i was early today, i decided to explore and climb the 94 steps. so like after 94 steps and 2 landings and a moth guarding the 2nd landing.. i emerged @ New Bridge Road, directly behind where i would appear if i took the escalator, along the stretch between macdonalds and the ba gua shop..hiakz. 94 steps aint that long btw.

went YCK stadium yesterday with the pang pang ju le bu (roughly translated to mean fat fat club)

there were 5 of us.. we attempted to do 2.4.. its been a while since my last 2.4 attempt.. the area around my place is roughly 1.6 only lor.. tsk tsk.. so anyway.. it was 2.4 ard the track.. come to think of it.. the only 2.4 i took ard the track was in poly! lol we exercised till the stadium lights went out and the guard chased us away.. grumpy old fella.. oh .. and fyi, the stadium closes @ 8.30pm. freaking early can! tsk tsk..

my 2.4 timing for this round is 18mins. no improvement.. hiakz. nvm. NEXT WEEK!

anywayz, i went BKK, but didn get anything for any of you cos I GOT NOT ENOUGH $$ for myself! the gin-devil and gin-angel waged a war in my head and devil-gin won. ;)

so anyway, we watched the Caberet show.. hiakz.. ah gua's dancing and lip syncing.. my first time.. we sat on the 6th row from the front, next to the aisle.. not too smart.. cos the ticket got seat number ma.. greg din wanna sit next to the aisle, so he took the inner seat.. so anyway only like about 2-3 were pretty lor.. the rest were just gross.. but there was this cute pretty one!! omg! she dressed as japanese.. DAMN CUTE CAN! i think 'she' took a fancy to greg sia.. cos you know how they always come down the stage to disturb the audience? wa.. everytime they come down the stage, i jitao kancheong sia.. but they dun disturb girls one.. so i really din have to worry.. hahah.. anyway.. the previous few all disturb the same 2 guys in the same 2 seats.. the exact same two guys were hugged and kissed and given the opportunity to touch touch them.. so i think maybe it was pre arranged.. no idea.. hiakz.. anyway there was this 'girl'.. long brown hair.. big curls.. the typical japanese singer look.. was singing a jap song ar.. she from the stage already looking @ greg liao.. tsk.. jitao walk all the way to our row and she gave greg a little bow.. tsk tsk.. but she's damn pretty lor! omg. then they had the comic relief guys.. who very obviously look like guys.. lumpy guys with bad PCK hair and short short dress and too much lipstick.. and one of them reached over me to kiss greg on the cheek!! lol! he left a freaking huge lipstick mark on greg's cheek!! hahah!! my poor darling.. sacrifice for me.. tsk.. cos he watched before when he was younger with his parents, but i din.. so he accompany me lor.. after the show got photo taking, 30baht for 1 photo, 100baht to touch.. tsk tsk.. our guide asked if we wanted to watch the Tiger (Thai Girl??) Show.. but after that ah gua show.. i a bit tramatised liao.. so we gave it a miss.. maybe next time.. hahaha!

Thai Massage lor.. at this dodgy looking place, need to walk through the carpark de.. hiakz.. i tot we were going for foot massage can! cos greg did the talking and i wasnt paying attention.. then the guy showed us into a room with 2 beds side by side, then he asked us to change.. i jitao huh? change? tsk.. so anyway.. massage was not bad.. my first thai massage.. *crick crack* the most scariest part was when they cracked my neck.. omg.. they could have killed me there n then! anyway.. tt's all the exciting bits for 1 day..

total damage done: S$500 and 1000+baht, including food, transport and airport tax. cos i ran out of cash, greg paid for food mostly.. hee
items bought: 3 bras, 3 undies, 3 necklaces, 8 tops, 1 skirt, 1 shorts, 5 jeans, 3 slippers, 2 wallet thingys.

satisfactory haul for S$500.. but not enough!! i din get bags, shoes, heels, belts and more clothes!!

When I walk from Chinatown mrt to my office, i will pass this open space, and little corner where the guys play Chinese chess. well. almost every morning, this grandfather will bring his grandson (of about 3 years old?) there.. to enjoy the sun and just let the kid run around. Well.. the other day, i walked passed them as usual and the kid called me 'Jie Jie!' tsk tsk.. yeah!

then today.. i was halfway across the open space when i heard a someone yell something.. but i was listening to my mp3.. so didn really pay attention.. then the fella yelled again and i turned to see who was yelling, it was the same little kid!! hurr hurr, then he waved @ me lor.. tsk tsk.. so cute right?

after 4 days of fireworks.. i din catch the one on National Day. i think that one must have been nice to see from afar.. anyway.. as i was saying.

i think last night's by France.. was quite nice.. but there wasnt enough color.. there were quite a few nice ones.. but the most important thing.. THEY DIDN HAVE THE SPERMY DUDES!! i like the spermy dudes... oooh! but the distinguishing feature of france was the way they started.. it was like they had green smoke coming out from the ground one after the other.. quite stylo.. then the fireworks started. then in between the works.. they suddenly stopped.. and the smarto pple sitting around me tot that was the end, and they started clapping.. idiots.. tsk tsk.. it was only like 5 minutes lor! lol

oo! and the best part of france's display was the waterworks.. somehow their fireworks bouncing off the river surface managed to bounce very far! the furthest i've seen.. it almost reached the bank near the barge.. from where i was, it was just about 3m short of reaching the river edge. Now THAT was cool.

i was just looking thru my brother's photos and comparing them. irregardless of how the fireworks display was, i'd say, the view from the Sheares bridge is the best! hands down. clifford pier.. not exactly very nice.. angle a little skewed. from the banks of the old River Hong Bao, also not very nice, almost a 90 degree angle, so couldn't really see the spacing out and intended design of the overall fireworks, and the view from the construction site behind lau pat sat.. not very good, cos we were quite far from the fireworks, and the sounds came to us lagging.. lol and the angle was skewed as well.

Moral of the story. Best view on the sheares bridge. i would say is right in front of the fireworks, @ the end of it. I was @ the start and the end of the bridge. the start of the bridge, the view's nice too, but too crowded. the end, there's air circulation, place to sit to stand, and the fireworks are just exploding in front of you. you can feel the booms as the sparks burst, the sound effects of the screeching fireworks.. best spot ever!

new caledonia's OWNS ALL! its much nicer than Singapore's and a million times nicer than Italy's!! especially the last part, the sparks were like flying towards us, and the golden showers, and the gold dust explosion, shooting across the sky and finally cascading down like waterfall.. omg. DAMN NICE can!

now i cant wait for tomorrow's display by France!! i only wish greg was here to see it with me. DARLING! i miss you!! come back quick!

the fireworks from singapore that is. OMG! the fireworks display today was like 10 times better than saturday's lor!! 'more intense' according to mj. damn nice lor! like it used up bigger portions of the sky, more fire power, and more unique fireworks! like that was the one that looked like hearts interwined.. then there were the little spermy ones.. that were at first quite short.. then they started to grow faster and move further.. then they spread and spread and spread until the whole sky was filled with little spermy dudes! and then there was the ones with 2 little parachutes at each end and there were about 7-8 strings of lights hanging between the 2 parachutes!! and they just floated down to the river!! then there were the glittery ones as well and the shoot high high silently and explode into a huge ball of tiny little lights! and the multiple explosion 'golden shower' one was spectacular!! the little boy, beside me, i think about 3-4 years old, he said 'the golden shower very nice' GOLDEN SHOWER LEH!

ok.. i just saw mj's photos of the saturday's one. he was on the bridge. i think the bridge has got the best view! cos the photos he took on saturday, didn look anything like those i saw on saturday! very nice lor! lol.. maybe cos i saw the fireworks on saturday @ an angle.. so not that nice ba.. hiakz.. its back to the bridge or over to esplanade for me on friday and saturday!! yeehaa!!

went with greg and mj to East Coast Park for some saturday morning exercise. mj n i went inline skating while greg went jogging. (k, maybe you shld join us.. yea yea? tsk.) so.. according to greg, ecp is abt 5km? we started @ the tip of ecp, the first carpark, stopped @ macdonald's for lunch.. then carried on to bedok jetty and back to the car again. me.. as usual.. unstable on the skates.. got better after like 20mins.. but occasionally still will go off balance.. but mj.. MJ CAN TURN! @#$&%@#%%&#$% and the saddest thing is, greg jog faster than i skate! omg! im slow! lol.. but it felt like i was already going very fast leh!! i think im scared of speed. whahahah! so anyway... all was well.. i didn buang until the end.. on the return trip, after macdonalds.. wa.. super tired can! my butt was like tired.. my thighs had no strength in them, my feet weighed a ton.. the soles of my feet were numb from all the vibration.. and.. i went off balance for a while and oops! there i was on the ground.. on my ass.. again.. last week's ass bump haven heal yet lor!! this week bump again.. tsk tsk.. no big blood drip.. just some scrapping sore skin where my thigh rubbed against the ground as i fell.. so now when i sit.. cannot any how wiggle and shift position liao.. tsk tsk.. oh darryl, i wore the top u bought me.. and now my back has a red circle mark.. -.- then we caught the first of the fireworks.. for some weird reason.. they closed off marina south.. so we had to make a detour.. in the end, we ended up @ lau pa sat that area.. and we watched from the construction site.. lol.. basically, the back of the fireworks.. hiakz. i like the little squiggly wormy thingy.. but like there wasnt enuf colors.. like all the same colors.. yellow, purple and the occasional red n green.. tsk. hope singapore has a better showing on tues.. tsk tsk.
	and then after the fireworks.. we had dinner @ .. hmm. i forgot the name if the place.. its opposite mulberry st or murray st or something like that. Famous Fishball Noodles.. apparently.. everyone @ the coffeeshop was eating fishball noodles! then other stalls were opened.. but @ most 1 or 2 customers onli.. tsk tsk.. then.. we caught Click! Its nice show! and Kate Beckinsale looks damn good! her hot rockin body! oh yea! ok. my inspiration to exercise is kate beckinsale. lol! everyday see her picture.. motivation.. tsk tsk.

so like leafie n i popped over to URA for their 699.1km² short film exhibition.. we didn stay n watch very much, but they closed off this section of the lobby, and put about 10-20 lime green bean bags on the floor in front of 3 huge screens, depicting
