Still giddy from yesterday's hyper concert. We're heading to the Shinjuku area today.

Becoming quite proficient in finding our way around the subways and metros.

More women only cars.

Not the most flattering, but xD

Gay holding-camera-in-front-of-mirror shot.

Area map around Ebisu station.

Had to switch trains here to get to Shinjuku.

Started to rain. mmm. Bad sign.

Haven't had breakfast, so we followed this sign that says foodshow...

But realized it was a supermarket.
The sashimi here looks fresher than those in Singapore restaurants.

By the time we got to Shinjuku station it was really raining.

One of the most well-known stories concerning Shibuya is the story of Hachiko, a dog who waited on his late master at Shibuya Station every day from 1923 to 1935, eventually becoming a national celebrity for his loyalty.
This is the statue of Hachiko, built adjacent to the station.

Shinjuku Station is used by an average of 3.22 million people per day,
making it the busiest train station in the world.

Which also makes this, the busiest cross street in the world.

Crossing in the rain. Got to love the clear umbrellas.

Center Gai, the heart of Shibuya, the is their 'Orchard Road'.
Mega popular among the younger crowd.

Time to have lunch. This was the cheapest around the area.

Surprisingly good.

While walking along the streets i heard Pepper Keibu song playing,
i kept looking for the store that was playing it without any luck.
Then i realized the lamposts had speakers.

Um, yeap. Massive Ayumi ad.

Shibuya 109-2. First stop on my mini Hello Project Store Hunt. xD

B2, Hello! Project store located~

Hello... Kitty suits...

Found it!

For those of you that don't know, Hello Project is the 'mother group' for
Morning Musume and other idol groups. Their Hello Project stores are where you
can buy their stuff. But apart from photos, i couldn't find anything useful. lol.
Didn't get anything in the end.

Wilson stopped by Tsutaya. I bought a couple of lounge music CDs after listening to them. Spent quite some time here.

Here's the Pepper Keibu song i was hearing earlier on the streets.

109 building, apparently only for girls and girl stuff.

They have these advertising trucks circling around popular places like Shibuya.
They light up at night and have speakers playing whatever they're advertising.
Wonder if we'll ever see this concept in Singapore.

Lots of school kids all over the place.

Then there was Loft.

It's a mix between Kinokuniya, Art Friend, Toys 'R' Us, and Franc Franc. Brilliant.

6 floors of plain cool useful stuff.

The 6th floor was where all the really really cool random stuff was. Like this robot.

We spent i think an hour here just walking around looking at stuff.

Tons of accessories to mix and match.

It says "the most graphically detailed umbrella ever made" on the bottle.
Didn't open it. Was bout S$80 i think.
But i did get a couple other really fancy umbrellas for Gin.

Then there were the bags. Rows and rows of oh-so-cool bags!
Especially the PORTER BAGS! like omg. You'll get the 'collect them all' feeling.
I bought a S$230 Porter sling bag. It was just ultimate nice.

Back out to Shibuya, still raining. But we bought bags! so it's all good.

Ok, lost. Again.

Audi building! so nice rights.

Uniqlo Teen shop on the left. Really cool.

Billboards!!!

GAP flagship store. The photo above the entrance is Liv Tyler you know.
Didn't go in though. Still raining.

Walking to Harajuku from Shibuya in the drizzle.

The walkway on the right with those 2 round gateway thing leads to Takeshita Dori, street famous for the more extreme fashion people.

Rain started to get worst while were were walking down Takeshita Dori.

Time to seek shelter, and at the same time have dinner.

Warm cozy place.

The miso hair thing on the right was strange. But ate it anyways. Super hungry.

Still in the restaurant. Or 'fast-food' restaurant.

More cute Japanese infographics!

Took the train back from Harajuku station. I remember the temperature dropping to 15 degrees while waiting for the train.

Supper! Went in for the hot coffee actually. But ended up buying their meals.
Didn't cover much because of the rain. More shopping than sight seeing.
Did i mention we bought bags? haha.
Hope it doesn't rain tomorrow.
