Remember this project a month back? Well it’s here!
I was giddy with excitement all day, knowing the bike arrived. Managed to collect in the evening. It’s smaller than my old bike, so i managed to squeeze the whole thing to fit into the backseat of a taxi. The driver was going, “eh your bike got no chain one ah?” I told him it was new so he let me put it in the backseat.
I cruised on it for a while waiting for the cab, and boy was it smooth. The entire bike is white, black and gold. All the gold parts being titanium bolts like the one you see above. A lot of aluminum CNC parts to keep the weight down. Just looking at it, it feels like an awfully fun bike to just ride around with. It’s still missing a few parts like the rear cog and brakes. Have to wait another week for everything to come in. Argh! Can’t waits!
In case you’re wondering, the chain tensioner above runs on the hub axle itself, so it doesn’t work like normal derailleurs that attach on the hangers. Less parts sticking out = less chance of breakage.
excited till cannot work right? :P
I did get work done ok! haha
NEED MORE PICTURES! And btw, how come there’s a spoke in the background that looks like a case of bad photoshop? lol
That ‘spoke’ is actually the spring for the tensioner. More pics coming!
