Here’s the full view. Super clean right now. Oh the pedals are magnesium too, and apparently lighter than my existing caged pedals. At the moment this frame is the only one in Singapore :D

The handlebar looks and feels a bit too wide at the moment. Stem a bit long too. Have to wait for all the parts to come and give it a go before i decided to switch to my old stem bar combination.

Another issue is the brakes. The hubs are non disc, so i can’t use my old disc brakes. Have to get new rim brakes. Expensive! I wonder if i should just get disc hubs to rebuild the wheel, then use back my old disc brakes. I suspect it’ll cost the same. Argh.

Went to get more titanium bolts to replaced the rusted ones on the old stem. $6 a piece. 6 bolts, that’s $36! zomg. Need to find myself a comfy seat and carbon seat post. It feels weird riding a bike with seat now. Feels like something’s riding up my ass.

  1. Looks super good! I wanna try when it’s done k!

  2. Amazing colors!! But, i would not recommend a carbon seatpost for your genre of riding. Carbon is brittle when scratched, as it is protected only by the top layer lacquer. All that jumping has lots of stress >.< Rather you bend the slightly heavier aluminum pole than have one cracked carbon fibre pole poking your arse XD

Maybe you can try a combi of both alu and carbon for the seatpost =P

  3. @Xep – But i won’t be like landing on the post or anything, it’s there more just for transportation.

  4. Happy New Year !!! All e best in 2010!!! YEah
