Just when I was about to die of boredom from producing yet another poster, we started pushing for videos for all the under utilized LCD TVs at the outlets.
The original plan was to have just the posters itself fly across a video montage like some silly primary school project. Oh no, I was having non of that. All that cutting edge computer power in the office and we’re gonna what?!
Went ahead and did what I had in mind. Was determined to make use of After Effects. It takes me like, 5 times longer to do anything in After Effects because everything is just alien. My other designer colleague remarked how it’s funny to see me only using the mouse to do design work. Usually I’m hot-keying my way through Photoshop.
