One of the longer projects finally coming to a close. Several site designs for their latest re-branding. From a technical point of view I was most satisfied with the way it was built. All the new CSS and .PNG optimization techniques I discovered over the past month, I put into this new site.
Did you know .png files are actually smaller than .gif files in most cases? IE6 support can be fixed with a bit of additional scripting. And here’s a CSS tip : It’s easier to avoid errors if you design your divs to not have padding/margin settings with height/width settings. Removes the need for all those nasty IE6 hacks.
Feels good to put together something that’s up to standard.
It feels tight, you know? like, tight. lol.
