These days, I cannot stress how important it is to have a well thought out and content-rich website if you’re trying to do, practically anything. Especially so if you’re a performing artist, or if you need to sell something.

To me at least, people on the web thrive on well written content and photos. Got event, no photos or content = die. It’s also imperative to get on the right medium to reach out to the people that matter. It’s no longer just about getting hits or views. It’s about getting to the people that are interested in your product.

Check out the upcoming Anime Festival Asia event. Amazing marketing and web presence together with Facebook and twitter. Site’s a bit crowded but you can find everything you would want to know about the event, who was going, where the performers came from, etc.

I was so annoyed by one of the events we pushed so hard for, but didn’t have any proper web coverage. Can’t be helped with the kind of time line we had.
