It’s only recently that I’m starting to regret doing everything in Photoshop. I mean, you work on an A2 poster in Photoshop till it’s perfect, then realized it’s going to be printed on a 8x2m banner. Oh my god, retard moment.
Should have done everything in Illustrator. But as much as i like to have everything streamlined and vectorized, my major problem with Illustrator is you can’t get the kind of textured, layered depth and feel without combining it with Photoshop. Things that come out of Illustrator always look squeaky clean, for me at least.
I’m the type of designer that adds gradients and dirt everywhere, resulting in massively layered files that eat up all your memory, stopping you from even saving the damn file.
