Anyone of you use electric toothbrushes? I got curious after reading about Eri giving it 5 stars on her radio show. Ever since i used one during my time with bracers, I’ve always wanted to get an electric tooth brush. But never had any good reason to buy it though. Plus at the time my impression of electric brushes was that it seemed to spoil easily.
Anyways as soon as i saw the Oral B site and their line of electric toothbrushes, i was sold. lol. The one i got was a higher end model, Professional care 7400. “Get the same Dentist Clean feeling at home with our electric brushes!” haha!
$154 at Junction 8. Was $184, but they had a roadshow going on. For personal use i thought it was a bit expensive, but since you can use more than 1 brush head everyone in the house can use, so why not? Bought the ‘Dual Action’ brush head for $23. They had a bunch of other brush head types, for polishing and all. The professional series had more useful features compared to the cheaper $30 series. Things like LED display when battery’s low, different brushing modes (i have no idea how to activate this, even after going through the manual twice), and the best part was the timer.
According to the manual you brush the left half of your upper teeth for 30 seconds, then it’ll vibrate and let you know to switch to the other half. So after 2 minutes you’re done brushing! Yes i’m a bit lazy. Need timer to make me brush longer. But after 4 days of use, there’s a noticeable difference. Looks whiter, breath feels fresher too. I’m gonna get the polishing head and see how that turns out. So fun. Zhng my toothbrush.

LOL! i tried the lower end one before. it died after i dropped it on the floor >.< the timer funciton rocks!
the handle is max dirty la cuz it touches ur hands. juz like how toilet bowl is cleaner than everywhere else cuz it never touches ur hands.
so bad meh! ok shall wash handle.
