Right, my new obsession. After going to pubs for the past 3 months, being exposed to some awesome DJ acts and remixes, and working on a DJ’s website. I’ve gotten quite interested in mixing songs. This of course spawned a bunch of other ideas related to my previous OPV project, things I wanted to do but couldn’t or didn’t know how.
Music and sound is the only thing in ‘multimedia’ that I haven’t gotten in to. I’m not musically inclined, and know absolutely zero about beats and stuff. After a couple days fiddling around with this DJ software, everything seems super fun, even without the turntables. I’m just messing around with fading across songs, have no idea how to actually mix things yet. Time for another crash course!
But this time I think, it won’t be as easy as learning After Effects to do motion graphics. I’m sure it’s cheaper than photography though. Hehe.
