While not as flashy as the first one I did, I thought it still worked for the mood of the song. Took a good 20 minutes to get familiar with Adobe Premiere again. It’s been nearly 9 months since I last used it. Add another 4 hours cutting up 30 minutes worth of footage to fit one song and there you have it.
Looking back at it, I realized the problems started during recording. I didn’t know what I was recording for. As in, what kind of end result I was going for. The kind of shots, the mood, the finishing. So I struggled a lot trying to find the correct footage to fit the mood I was trying to create. Should always begin with the end in mind. Just like web design I suppose. You shouldn’t design something you can’t build in html or flash. Need to see the big picture first!
For those interested in the tech, it was shot on the 5Dmk2, using only the Canon 100mm F2.8 macro lens + tripod. The HD footage was converted to DVD NTSC for easier editing. I haven’t found out how to replace the low res footage to make it HD again. It seems like that’s the proper work flow for HD videos.

whoa! everything’s pretty nicely shot with the focus unfocus.. but a bit too much laaa :P
oh btw, the intro segment (With the band name).. i thought i saw this treatment somewhere… michael buble or victoria secret!? hahaha
Ya i thought the focus was quite annoying. Next time round i shall not twist the ring so much xD
