Uwah, rocking set by Felix. There was another massive gig going on at Zouk with Bob Sinclair, the guy behind Love Generation. But ah wells. I was messing around with a monopod setup tonight. That’s how I got the mega high angle photo above. Wanted to do some video as well, but the whole place was too dark for any video. Thinking of getting a 28mm F1.8 lens. I’ve been leaning towards wide aperture prime lenses recently. Lighter and more convenient.
Colleagues found out it was my birthday yesterday, so I got owned by a ‘waterfall’. Company tradition it seems. I was supposed to be taking photos, but after 3 tequila shots and a waterfall, I took up my camera, walked about 8 meters, then realized I couldn’t walk in a straight line. So I went to put back my camera. lol.
There’s still some work to be done promotion wise for these events. There’s quite a bit of things that could have been done better. We’ll try to implement them in the next few shows. I just cannot wait for next Friday’s DJ Momjeans set. MUST COME OK! ^-^
