Man he was AWESOME! One of the best nights I’ve seen at FC. Lots more people compared to DJ Kaelig. He kept the crowd going non-stop. Super cool.
Shooting wise I’ve pretty much got my camera settings down. Completely love the camera’s ability to save up to 3 predefined settings, so i can just switch on the fly. Oh so smooth now.
I’m just annoyed at having to use ISO 6400 to record video in the place. It’s just too damn dark. It’s too grainy to be used on HD unless you size it down for web use. Then the grain becomes less obvious. No matter, sooner or later I’ll find a suitable light source to use in video.
Anyways I wrote a mini Event Photography Guide, targeted at first time shooters trying to get into events. I’ve put down just about everything I’ve learnt over the past couple years doing events. Hopefully it’ll come in useful to many :]
