Last day of work for my immediate boss. Threw a farewell party @ Clarke Quay. But he sort of disappeared halfway through though. Super suspicious. I got introduced to a headhunter at the event. I always wondered how one gets a job as a headhunter. According to her she says it was pure luck. ._.|||
Also saw my ex-boss there. We spoke some months back about career choices. And when she saw me again she was like, how come you haven’t sent out your resume! X_x
Looking back though, I’ve never worked under a lot of bosses that left a huge impression on me. The only amazing bosses I’ve worked for was during my internship during FYP, during my army days and one particular client that I have utmost respect for. Since then I haven’t come across any ‘mentor type’ bosses that have a genuine interest in helping their employees grow.
