I have never, ever, anywhere, been surprised with a birthday cake before. Much less from friends I barely know or never met before LOL! It’s like what I didn’t get from the expected, I got from many totally unexpected friends instead.
Went to crash with the H!O dudes for some karaoke fun. Seeing how high some of them can get just watching behind the scenes making of, I thought a KTV session singing H!P songs would be a riot. I’ve never been to a KTV session before, so why not? lol.
The 2 rooms were a bit small to squeeze in 19 people, but we managed anyways. I brought close to 30 glow sticks for even more concert-ish wota chanting fun. Didn’t have any pink ones left, brought them all to Japan. Only had red green blue and yellow to distribute. Apologies all Kamei and Eri fans! haha!
After a couple slow songs we broke out the glow sticks, started on ‘How do you like Japan‘ and it was just yelling and screaming from then on lol. We were jumping between rooms when they played C-ute or Berryz songs. Only wanted Morning Musume songs! wahahha! ‘Renai Revolution 21‘ was an absolute riot, everyone knew the song and dance, even when they didn’t have the lyrics on screen during the interlude dance part, I realized I still knew the words hahahah! When Love Machine came on, nearly everyone crashed into 1 room and we sang so loud, I think the whole floor could hear the wo wo wo wo parts xD.
It was later on when they sprang the birthday cake surprise. I was wondering why they were skipping the songs on the machine, until they found this Happy Birthday one by Eri, and everyone from the other room seemed to be spilling into the room I was in? Then AlwaysAi brought in this huge cake with a candle on it. I was like ehh! whoose birthday?
Then DumpPpling started to push me forward, I was like huh? Until i saw it was my name on the cake! lol. Totally went EHHHHHHH!!!!!!???? Mega surprised owned. It was 5 days before the actual day but awwww SO NICE!!!
I was left a bit speechless since I didn’t know half the people in the room, yet they pulled such a stunt. The cake was a big orange turtle, KAMEI COLOR! Wahhahaha. Too bad had to cut her up into many pieces. The only problem was the lack of real PVs in their systems. All the songs had random KTV clips in the background. A bit distracting. Other than that though, it was a super fun day off random H!P fandom. Mega mega thanks everyone!!! Totally made my weekend ^-^

@bee – Yes it was a mini H!P gathering, and it wasn’t a planned celebration! i just wanted to see how the KTV was like with morning musume songs. then they suddenly pull out one cake i blur. xD
