Corinne Gibbons, during her set said, “oh no i snapped my g-string”. Everyone, including myself was going O.O?!
Turns out she was referring to the guitar’s ‘G’ string. See the photo above, one of the string’s hanging out. This totally screwed up her planned song line up, and she had to sing impromptu a bunch of other songs.
She tried to play without the G note but it wasn’t working. Ended up singing without any music, while the crowd clapped along. Very nice how she handled the disaster and still saved her set. Now that’s what i call professionalism + talent.
Just found your blog entry … brought back hilarious memories from the show. I also gasped when she said ‘my G-string snapped’ :-) but she handled it amazingly …
