First ever staff party. I’m quite surprised at the amount and quality of the prizes. Laptops, LCD TVs, thousands worth in vouchers and cash. The first prize was $1500 cash can zomg. I won a $100 Robinsons voucher xD
Apart from the very lengthy lucky draw presentation (it had to be continued, twice. lol) both our resident bands performed as well. RSF and Cats in the Cradle. The sound was quite terrible. The place wasn’t build for good acoustics. Echoing all over the place. No matter, they still rocked the house :D
It’s quite interesting to the difference in their performances, one being a brand new band, the later being in the business for 6 years. Their showmanship and overall crowd riling skills were different. Or maybe, everyone was more drunk as the night wore on. lol.
On a separate issue, I felt like a wall that I’ve been staring at for the longest time, just broke down today. It’s feels liberating and slightly tingy. I’m quite keen to see what’s going to happen in the several months ahead. Awesome day indeed.
A small note to self: Do not, I repeat DO NOT, agree to ANY future requests or favors when tipsy or drunk. You’ll most likely regret the next morning.
