This was supposed to be a blockbuster of sorts. But looking at the trailer though, there was hardly any talking. Just lots of action and big monsters. The movie itself wasn’t any different. The way Hades materializes and transforms was about the coolest part for me. Zeus didn’t look like Zeus. lol. I preferred Percy Jackson’s Lighting Thief version of Zeus.
The main hero Perseus, played by Sam Worthington, was way too shallow. The whole show all he said was Revenge! Kill Zeus! Do it as a man! lol. If they had spent maybe another half hour fleshing out the characters, maybe adding in more dialogue and romance with Io, the other demi-godess, it would have been so much better?
Didn’t feel connected to the characters on screen. Everything was fast forwarded, and I thought Medusa died in the most anti climax way ever. Oh and stay away from the 3D version. Only the subtitles are 3D. lol!
