Chad came over a couple nights back to shoot, so cool ya!
2 hours, 4 outfits, and over 450 shots later, we managed to filter out about 20 solid ones that worked quite well. I think the more detail you have in your clothes, the more interesting the shot looks. Watches, chains, layering clothes, all come together to make the photo more interesting.
Had trouble trying to get catch lights in the eyes. It would have been a whole lot faster and easier if there was an assistant to help move the lights on the spot. I only realized after the shoot that i had to bring the light lower to get catch lights. Another thing was the hair light. I wonder how they get such shiny hair in those Glamor magazines.
I bought a copy of Vogue by the way. I can look at their full page photos all day, trying to working out how they achieved their lighting effects.
I need to go find a book on male/female posing xD
