In case you missed my previous post, yes i broke the filter.

Second time I’m visiting the Canon Service Centre @ Harbour Front. If you think about it, it’s quite obvious, but it just struck me as soon as i sat down with my queue number, that the conversations there are all very photography/client related. I keep overhearing people talking on phone, things like “yes i’ll deliver the DVD to you tomorrow”, “the client wants to clean up that part, just Photoshop it”, stuff like that. xD

The service lady was quite hilarious. She was in this monotone mode, “Yes-how-can-i-help”, then i took out the lens, then she went “whats-wrong-with-your-lens”, then i took off the hood, she went “O.O OMG” and grabbed the lens for a closer look. lol. In the end they removed the broken filter for free. I had the option to keep it with them for calibration checks. But no thanks, i’ll keep my $70. Plus it worked fine when I tested it after it broke.

The only annoying thing now is the 3 minor marks on the lens from the drop. Can’t see it in the photo above from this angle. I don’t think it affects the photos, but it’s just annoying.
