Alright, enough of the gloomy film look, this other set on the wood wall looks better. This was the set where the lack of a reflector caused the most problems. But never minds, managed to brighten up things in post. Just a bit annoyed with the windows on the 2nd shot. ugh!
The 24-105mm F4L is still the lens of choice for shoots and stuff. I’ve been reading some articles on how primes are better, but I feel they’re suitable for more controlled situations like studio settings and still life, food photography shoots. It’s rather hard to use primes outdoors. The locations and angles are always changing, the flexibility afforded by zooms are worth their extra costs.
Just last month after getting my 50mm fixed lens, I wanted to sell all my zooms because fixed lenses were so much lighter and cheaper. LUCKY I DIDN’T SELL. haha! Phew~
It’s nice cause the red tones from the wood act as a contrast to the white accented by the blue. If the whole costume had been blue wouldn’t had worked out so well either to be on the wood.
@chad – That’s true. Just luck there was a wooden thingy we could shoot against.
