

I was zoomed in at 600%, removing blemishes, stray hairs, dusts and other oddities when my colleague asked if it was necessary to be that detailed. I thought a while and concluded that yes, it was.
It might not look like much if you remove a couple of blackheads, a wrinkle here and there. But once you work through the entire image and compare the before and after, it looks noticeably better. I mean, even fixing up uneven patches on the ground makes a difference to the photo.
Less distracting elements = more power to the subject. I just feel it’s easier to look at. Or maybe it’s just the OCD designer in me at work.
