I was trying to do this shot without lights and a no so expensive office tripod. Out of 30 shots, only 1 made it. Even on the tripod, with a timed shutter, it was still had camera shake! Like wtf.
Nearly screwed myself again trying to use window light while the sun was setting. There are like so many uncontrollable factors that will mess with your shot. And the window and sun position has to be perfect. Even passing clouds will mess with the light. I don’t know how people do food shots with natural light. Do they even? ._.
Been shooting a lot the past week, and i can see how it can start to become a chore. It’s like I’m all fired up for a shoot, then i get another one the next day, and the next, and so on. Without any breaks, unprocessed photos start to pile up. And when I finally get the time to start going through them, the passion for the first shoot sort of fades, and processing them feels a bit draggy.
Man i still have a ton of undone photos from the band shoot a few weeks ago.
