Wilson brought us to this tunnel he came across some time ago. It really was a tunnel, with a huge locked gate at the entrance. haha. We got permission from one of the workers there to shoot, and started to set up. Although i think he didn’t really understand us. lol.
Leon came along to see what we were up to… and was quite amazed at how ‘far away’ we were into photography. In terms of just snapping away on a compact camera of the scene as it is, to now, taking control of everything with lights, modifiers, stands and other gadgets.
Our first outdoor romp, and the ability to place the lights anywhere without any restrictions was just amazing (an ability that cost $960 through amazon). The only bothersome thing was that our lights kept shutting off by themselves, not to mention the wind kept blowing over our stands. haha~
Wilson camped over after the shoot to process the shots. It was about 3.42am before we realized we couldn’t tell the difference between photos. lol. Overall a super fun shoot. Learnt lots of new stuff.
