Now with the photos done, we’re moving on to websites! A mini-site actually. They don’t have enough contents for a full on website yet. Been researching other band sites, since I’ve never done anything similar.
The thing about musician sites, the menus and contents are always the same, and they’re very linked into social media sites like myspace, facebook and twitter. Essential to maintain their fan base I suppose. Always present is some sort of flash music or video player.
I’ve been having trouble trying to get the music to play constantly on the site while the user clicks around. The only way to that seems to be to use a full flash, or mess with frames. Design wise, nearly all of them have black backgrounds and or textured ones. Haven’t seen any clean white musician sites.
This is going to be a fun one to do. :D
