How much do you spend on souvenirs for friends and family back home when you’re on holidays? I just realized i spent close to $300 on random stuff, bags, umbrellas, charms, misc handmade arty things, traditional fans, Burberry hankies, and different kinds of boxed snacks they have so conveniently packed for use as gifts.
Just about done sorting them in bags and into who gets what. You know my mom swiped one of my Uniqlo t-shirts! I came back one day and she said, “wa you buy so many of the shirts nice hor! i take one hor.” ._.|||
Anyways it’s nice that the shops there provide wrapping for everything you buy. Even if they put it all into a single bag they still provide the extra wrappers and stickers. And they take great care in wrapping your purchases. Maybe because i was a foreigner?
Anyways for myself I spent close to $900 on shoes, clothes, bags, and other random misc cool stuff that i have no practical use for, like the Kamei and Sayumi towels. lol. I got myself an uber cute stuffed turtle as well. :]
