This trip was booked close to 4 months in advance, without any plans nor expectations. Just a random out of country experience in a group of 9 :D The only planned item was the hotel, which we booked in advanced. Everything else we figured we’ll decided when we got there. Impromptu backpack style exploration for the win.
I’ve only ever been to distant countries (Australia, Europe, Japan), rarely closer countries (Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia). So I don’t know what to expect for this trip. All the stories about robberies and dangerous bag snatches on bikes are a bit worrying though. We’ll see. Be back in 3 days!
