One of the most unproductive days of the 14 day trip. Highlight of today was to be the cosplayers in and around Yoyogi park, but we didn’t manage to find any. Wrong timing maybe? Or maybe they had another event somewhere else.
Spent nearly the entire morning and early afternoon at Yoyogi park. It was a very nice, relax place to chill and just mill about with friends and family, but after last night’s hyper concert, the park was just way too boring for me. Seeing the rockabilies and the various sub-cultures in the park was somewhat amusing, but I was looking to check out more high energy places. Where you had things to see, do and experience.
Late afternoon was spent walking around places we’ve already been, like Harajuku and Omotesando Hills. We had absolutely no places of interest to check out today, since all of them were reserved until Wilson arrived tomorrow. Plus the time we allotted at Yoyogi park was cut short because there weren’t any cosplayers to take photos of.
Fabulous dinner at one of the recommended places to eat Chad compiled before the trip kind of saved the day, but at the end of it I was still quite annoyed at how unproductive the day was. Should have gone for another concert. Dammit.
