Japan Day 8

Rained the entire day. Made the temperatures drop to 15 degrees in the evenings. Could see mist forming when you breath out. But that was the only cool part of the rain. Grey skies and rain = terrible photos.

Walked from Shibuya to Harujuku. Shibuya felt like an huge outdoor Heeren. Spent most of the day in a couple buildings like the 109-2 building and Loft. The 109 building (photo above) was for girls only. Amazing right. Anyways we spent a bomb at Loft. The things they have there are so cool. Especially the Porter bags. Like, zomg all so nice! Got to collect them all.

Oh and I’ll never look at umbrellas the same after coming to Tokyo. They’re a fashion statement here it seems. Apart from the usual transparent umbrellas which i thought was so cool in the rain, there were other really fancy ones with super cool functions and patterns. Self opening and closing ones, super mini sized ones, to the $300+ leather and carbon fiber ones from Burberry. In total we bought six umbrellas xD

That was all for the day. Super tired from yesterday’s concert. Woke up really late at 10pm, so technically we only had a 5 hour day. Shops here close at 7-8pm, So it’s best to start traveling at 9am, after rush hour. We’re attempting to wake up at 5am tomorrow to catch the auctions at the famous Tsukiji fish market. :]
