Japan Day 4
By far the most exhausting day, but we had our Memoirs of a Geisha moment running through the countless gates at the Fushimi Inari Shrine, so all’s good. There were really thousands upon thousands of gates there, all the way up the mountain. We didn’t manage to walk through all of them. Too tired to climb any more steps. lol.
Earlier in the day we went to Kiyomizudera, the place was swarmed by school kids! Must have been excursion day or something. But nevermind! Morning Musume was there before in one of the Hello Morning shows, so it was also, all good :D
Next we walked by Sanjusangendo, famous for the 1001 human sized statues. Didn’t look like much outside, but once we stepped inside, it was whoa, very very impressive. One of the most impressive attractions we’ve seen so far.
Good day. Packed with fun things to see. Feet almost died, but fun. Everything looked relatively close on the map walked, a LOT. xD Fell asleep as soon as we got back to the inn. I’ve walked more on in a single day on holiday than 1 month back in Singapore. lol.
